moments in time

one of my supervisors comes to me and says "hey, your team lead and alternate aren't coming in today. You have to give the briefing of the project this morning at 9." I know I looked at him like he was crazy. Then a Danis moment popped in my head. Remember the class where he showed the clip from the Hunt for the Red October? The scene where James Earl Jones told one of the Baldwin brothers he was giving the briefing as they walked to it? That's me today. The only difference is that I'm not an expert on this subject and I have 1 hour to overview the project.

...i need to start writing again. a bit selfish to keep life's characters/experiences in my head, no?
